It's a common occurrence for laptop and desktop computers to overheat. Generally, dust, hair, lint, and other crap gets pulled into a computers heatsink fan and gets stuck. After an extended period of time sucking in all this junk and collecting it, the fans began to lose power, get clogged, and blow hot air either slightly out of the computer or right back into it.
